“Palo Verde” is furnished in southwestern style with original artwork and photography. A sliding glass door opens to a private balcony where one can witness the sun rising over the zero edge pool and the Tucson Mountains. This casita has two cozy twin beds ( with king bed optional )  and a beehive fireplace to melt life’s troubles away.

Fall asleep listening to the soulful hooting of owls and the stirring songs of the coyotes. You are immersed in the photogenic cacti of postcards and western movies where the giant saguaro reigns supreme.

There is a bright private bathroom finished in authentic Mexican talavera tile with walk-in shower. Your private balcony has an inviting seating area for reading in the afternoons, star gazing in the evenings, or possibly spotting a red tail hawk circling the sky as they catch a warm breeze. Gazing below at the David Yetman trailhead you’ll begin planning your days possibilities.

Directly outside your private entrance is a beautiful courtyard featuring native and exotic cacti, benches, and mesquite shaded seating areas. This is yet another exemplary place to sip you coffee, draw in your sketchbook, or even catch the last glimpse of the Tucson sun as it sets over the top of our magnificent mountains. Guests love to sit by the negative edge pool and read a book or enjoy the spa. This is indeed an idyllic place to relax and let the rhythms of the desert guide your day.

“Great stay at Blue agave bed”

Wonderful experience at the Blue agave in Tucson! Loved our casita–the Palo Verde…beautifully furnished, very comfortable and a neat fireplace. Amazing view of the desert and a forest of saguaro cacti and the North Tucson mountains. Gracious hosts, very friendly…excellent food… we will return!

This was a dream vacation…very relaxing with perfect weather and the scenery was spectacular. I cannot say enough about how amazing not only the casita was but also the owners. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. Awesome picture opportunities mixed with great hiking made for a wonderful vacation.
