We are fortunate to have Pauline Spurgiesz sous chef of the former “La Zarzuela”, bed and breakfast prepare fresh, healthful dishes which will satisfy your demand to hit the trails, visit many of our nearby museums, or simply settle into your casita and enjoy the day.

Upon request we are happy to offer tasty vegetarian and gluten free breakfasts and can accommodate your special dietary needs as best we can.

Should you have an early adventure planned or flight to catch we can assist in setting up a quick continental breakfast to take with you.

Blue Agave B&B Scrumptous Breakfast

Breakfast will be served promptly at 8:00 a.m. We realize that the world of coffee is a fascinating one and we are now offering organic and fair trade coffee offered exclusively in Southern Arizona by Arbuckles’ Coffee Roasters.  We will also be offering their famous “Coffee that Won the West” Arbuckles’ “Ariosa” which is a full bodied brew that began serving in the 1870’s.

Some of us Tucsonanʼs awake each morning with one of two things in mind: homemade hand-stretched tortillas or pan dulce! ( Also known as Mexican “sweetbreads”. ) Minutes from many of Tucsonʼs best Mexican restaurants we hope to invite you to sample from our local delicacies. From ginger-molasses cochitos (little pigs), to conchitos (conch shells) and orejas ( crispy puff pastry ears!) they are certain to tantalize and amuse your taste buds. ( A little history for those interested: these pastries date back from the Spanish conquest as recipes were introduced to the “new world.”
