The Frank Lloyd Wright inspired architecture located on 15 acres of undisturbed desert features expansive desert and mountain views. Committed to preserving the beauty of the Sonoran landscape many rooms were actually built around the magnificent indigenous Saguaro cacti. With 4 lovely casitas, The Blue Agave offers the best of both worlds! We are secluded enough to offer a tranquil respite from everyday life yet minutes away from the downtown Tucson nightlife. Whether your tastes are symphony, jazz, rock and roll or special lectures at the University of Arizona,, itʼs all here!

A central courtyard sanctuary features a majestic blue domed Moorish gazebo, arrays of cacti and succulents from desert regions around the world and a fascinating mosaic mural depicting wildlife native to the Tucson area.

Blue Agave B&B Pool DeckThe negative edge pool and spa reach out over the Saguaro studded desert where visitors are likely to spot wildlife such as bobcat, mule deer and javelina. This is just one of several outdoor verandas from which visitors are invited to relax and take in the dramatic views of the mountains and the Tucson Valley below. We are located adjacent to the Yetman trailhead which leads visitors on a trail through the quiet, pristine Sonoran desert mountains.

The Blue Agave prides itself in itʼs 4 colorful deluxe casitas. All have private entrances and terraces which are perfectly located to enjoy the magnificent backdrop of the majestic Sonoran desert. The casitas are equipped with refrigerators, A/C, ceiling fans, comfy robes, Keurig coffee makers and a fine selection of coffees, hairdryers, televisions and sound systems.

In the evening guests are invited to experience the dramatic Arizona sunsets  from the magnificent grand veranda. As the evening sky grows dark , this is a perfect spot for viewing the wonders of the night sky.  From pollinating bats and lesser nighthawks, to constellations and planets, it is a dramatic sight that you won’t want to miss. Dr. Smith, internationally known planetary scientist, led the successful Phoenix Mars Mission from Tucson, the first NASA mission to be led from a University setting , and the first mission to find water on the “red planet”. Dana, nationally recognized sculptor and painter, welcomes both artists and art lovers to explore the desertʼs inspiring palette. Bring your watercolors, pencils, or simply make a trip to Tucsonʼs generous offerings of art museums and galleries.
